Palettes & Knives

Start by scraping off all of the paint off the palette with a palette knife. For excess residue, a light coat of solvent should be applied to the palette's surface and left to simmer for about 5 minutes. Wipe clean as much as possible with a paper towel. If there is still residue remaining, apply another coat of solvent and repeat.

If you need to thicken your acrylic paint there are various medium options you can choose from to make this happen. Thickening mediums can range from pourable to moldable. We sell a variety of these, including textured gels which will add even more thickness providing the ability to mimic certain textures like sand, ceramic, or stucco.
