Winsor & Newton's Professional Canvas range is made from premium 480gsm canvas hand stretched over solid pine stretcher bars for the best tension. Each corner is expertly tailored for a premium finish.

Winsor & Newton acrylic gesso is applied to the canvas, making it suitable for use with oil or acrylic paint, as well as other media.

Sizes larger than 10 x 10" come with Winsor & Newton's revolutionary ProStretcher device, which can be used to further refine the stretched canvas tension.
