Pebeo Setacolor Opaque Fabric Paints 45ml are water-based paints designed to decorate and personalise fabrics. They work best on light and dark fabrics containing at least 50% natural fibres, such as cotton, wool, jersey, mesh, velvet, and even leather. Pre-washing the fabric is recommended to remove any sizing for optimal results.
Ready to use straight from the bottle, these paints dry in approximately one hour, delivering vivid, intense colours with excellent coverage and lightfast properties. For softer, watercolour-like effects, they can be diluted with water. Pebeo Setacolor Opaque Fabric Paints 45ml can be applied using various techniques, including brushing, stencilling, stamping, sponging, splattering, or screen printing, encouraging creativity and experimentation.
To make the paint permanent, iron the reverse side of the fabric (no steam) for five minutes, using the appropriate heat setting for the material, such as a hot iron for cotton. Once heat-set, the decorated fabric can be safely washed at 40°C.
Always stir the paint before use and clean tools with warm soapy water after your project is complete.
